We are seeking an energetic Private Banker to join our Private Office client segment. This segment caters to the needs of our Family Office and Ultra High Net Worth clients. The Private Office team provide our clients with a holistic service proposition covering investment management, intergenerational wealth transfer, debt solutions, cash management and transaction banking. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to develop their career in Private Banking working in the Private Office segment. In this role you will be part of a team managing a portfolio of high value clients with complex needs. You will be the primary relationship contact for a segment of the client portfolio, working with an Associate Private Banker and other specialists, enabling timely and relevant solutions to be delivered for our clients. Here is some more detail on our client proposition - Lending (residential and commercial property, and equities including complex/bespoke structures and offerings) Wealth Advisory (Investments/Super/Insurances; our own Chief Investment Office with almost $10B Investment FUM and ongoing investment into global platforms) Business Exits/Sales (Preparation/Advisory/Transition) Next Generational Wealth Transfer (Succession/Estate Planning/Philanthropy etc) We bank >50% of the AFR top 200 giving you and our clients/prospects confidence in our proposition What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Excellent communication skills combined with a client relationship management background. Established banking and lending experience. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong understanding of credit processes, policy and credit skills including commercial debt knowledge. Transactional Banking and Cash Management capabilities. Proven experience working on retail and commercial products, systems & processes. Strong focus on compliance, attention to detail & flawless execution. Results oriented with exceptional ability to deliver outcomes. Proven internal and external networking skills. An understanding of wealth management & advisory, role & operation of Family Offices, as well as knowledge of equity & debt capital markets, are highly regarded, but not mandatory You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
