Olympic Industries, SA’s leading home improvement manufacturer, providing Carports, Garages and Sheds to domestic, rural and industrial markets requires a Sheetmetal Assistant based at our Factory in Para Hills West.

Olympic Industries is a market leader with nearly 50 years experience providing products and services throughout South Australia and interstate. Due to expansion we have a number of roles opening up and are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Operator to join our Team

**The Role**:
We are currently seeking an experienced, responsible and reliable Sheetmetal Assistant to assist in our sheet metal department fabricating sheet metal products and equipment, such as flashings, downpipes, window frames and gutters among various other products. Work may involve setting up and operating fabricating machines to cut, slit, bend and fold sheet metal.

To be considered for this role you must have:

- Experience with Folders, Slitters, Brake Press and guillotine
- Proficiency in shaping and forming cut metal stock into products using folding and bending machines, presses and hammers
- Motivated and self-driven individual with a willingness to learn
- Punctual, reliable, energetic and physically fit
- Hold a current forklift licence - desirable
- Strong commitment to safety and relevant WHS expectations
- Eye for detail and quality
- Strong problem-solving ability to determine the best way to deliver a quality product
