Kennel Attendant

**Vetcall Ashmore are seeking a Casual Animal Attendant to join the team**

Our passionate and dedicated clinic is looking for a Animal Attendant to join our fast paced team and provide exemplary patient care to our valued patients.

**About the Role**
- Full responsibility for the wellbeing, cleaning and feeding of all our boarding patients and wildlife
- Walking boarding patients’ multiple times a day
- Monitoring patients for any unusual, concerning behaviour and communicating this to a fellow staff member
- Previously animal handling skills preferred but not essential (we will train you) - both cat and dog handling is involved
- Confident in wanting to learn handling of anxious animals
- Cleaning - sweeping, mopping, laundry duties
- Approximately 3 - 6hrs per week with flexibility required across 7 days

- Take directions and have initiative, adaptability and the capacity to work autonomously
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A caring and respectful approach to all animals
- Good organisational and time management skills
- A strong desire to learn new skills including animal husbandry, handling and behaviour
- Confident with learning a new computer system - We use ezyvet
