Beata Homecare provides home care services to support the independence of clients from various cultural backgrounds in Melbourne.

We are recruiting **Lifestyle Assistants/Home Care Workers** to join our lifestyle team to support home care package clients during group activities (in community halls or outings) and in their homes.

This is a **casual **position. Must be available **Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays**.

You will commute to our office in Mount Waverley and attend activity centres / bus outings with the Lifestyle Coordinator to activities, or provide assistance in the client's homes.

**Role**:
You will provide quality care to clients during group activities (in community halls or outings), and in the client's homes (for home care services).

Duties during group activities include:

- Work with the lifestyle coordinator to assist delivery of activities
- Personal care assistance
- Transport assistance (must be able to drive 12-seater van)
- Documentation/reporting as required

Home care duties include:

- personal care
- domestic support (cleaning, meal preparation, laundry)
- transport in your own car (to appointments, shopping, activity groups)
- in-home respite
- providing companionship
- Documentation/reporting as required

**Requirements**:

- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care / Individual Support / Disability
- _**Ability to speak Khmer, Serbian or Dari is desired**_
- Victorian Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle with insurance (_**must be able to drive 12-seater van)**_
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- First Aid Certificate (within 3 years)
- CPR Certificate (within 1 year)
- Minimum 2 doses of the COVID-19 vaccination
