Legal Assessment Officer

**Your new company**
This Government Department is responsible for maintaining South Australia’s law and justice framework. Working within the Compliance and Enforcement Branch, where no two days are the same, you will work to undertake assessments with a regulatory setting.
**Your new role**
You will be responsible for assessing complaints in accordance with legislation, and recommending action based on legislative interpretation and relevant Government policies. This will involve liaising with complainants, gathering and storing evidence, undertaking legal and regulatory research, and assessing matters which may proceed to prosecution.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate the following:
- Hold a Bachelor of Laws and be eligible for admission to the Supreme Court
- Ability to analyse information and complex factual situations
- A theoretical and practical understanding of litigious and non-litigious matters
- Ability to weigh competing considerations, form a judgement, make a recommendation and justify your recommendation
