**About the role at Ampol**

Reporting to the Licensing and Compliance Specialist, the Licensing and Compliance Advisor is responsible for coordinating the management of all licensing requirements across the retail network at Ampol. This role will be crucial in maintaining Ampol’s brand and reputation by driving better efficiencies and compliance through proactive management whilst ensuring sites are able to operate in accordance with regulatory guidelines - particularly with local, state, and federal regulatory bodies that the Ampol retail business engages with.

**Seniority**

**Junior** - A role for someone with some basic skills, good motivation and ability to learn. Typically 1-2 years of experience is required.

**Responsibilities**
- Legal Operations - Review laws and standards to implement, update and maintain the organization’s policies, standards, and procedures.
- Legal Research - Research and analyze legal issues for clients including case law, regulations, and legal precedents

**Strengths**
- Problem solving - Identifies problems and develops logical solutions that address the problems
- Attention to detail - Accurately identifies and rectifies discrepancies or errors that exists in information and deliverables
- Critical thinking - Identifies and synthesizes patterns and trends amongst various sources of information to reach a meaningful conclusion, perspective or insight
