Marvellous Nanny Yeronga

Nanny Start Date: 3rd of Feb, 2025

Pay Rate: $38 (inclusive of tax) per hour plus superannuation and leave entitlements

Fuel allowance: 98 cents per km

Contract type: Part Time 12-month contract with ability to extend.

Days/ Hours:

- Monday - 1pm to 6pm (flexible on which day is the longer day)
- Tuesday - 3pm to 6pm
- Wednesday - 3pm to 6.30pm
- **Optional full days over school holidays 8am-5pm and occasional babysitting_

About the Family:
Working for a professional couple, caring for a chatty and outgoing 8-year-old boy. In their family time they enjoy watching the Brisbane Lions, swimming and playing in the pool, eating Yum Cha, board games, cooking and travel.

Both parents are career driven individuals with Mum working as a lawyer and Dad as a banker. Their child is in grade three; he is a fun, social, chatty and curious 8 year old. He loves playing and watching all types of sport but also like lego, minecraft, rocks/crystals and generally having fun. Interested in food and cooking and always a keen eater

What we are looking for:
We are looking for an organised, caring and communicative nanny who loves working with kidsThey will have sole charge of after school routines including school pick up, afternoon tea, homework, driving to extracurricular activities and must ensure the child has everything he needs for extra curricular activities. Ideally our nanny would have a bubbly and warm personality, someone who can problem solve and work independently when parents are not home. This child is more suited to an active and sporty nanny who will engage in active play. They will need a clean driving record/licence and vehicle.

**Tasks**:

- Early start time day - admin tasks like grocery shopping / tidying and some washing - nothing 'heavy'
- Assisting child in after school routines: school pick up, afternoon tea, showering, clothing, homework
- Driving to extracurricular activities
- General tidy up after activities/ meals
- Washing/ putting dishes away
- Laundry assistance
- Tidying of children bedrooms
- Meal preparation for children only

Transport:
Licence required and nanny to provid own vehicle with fuel allowance

Must have:

- Blue card
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- 2 x Reference checks
- Drivers licence
- Own Vehicle
