Ramsay Health Plus, located at Mt Wilga Private Hospital, is an NDIS registered provider on Sydney’s upper North Shore. We deliver therapeutic supports to NDIS participants that include Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Hydrotherapy, Therapy, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Dietetics and Social Work.

**The Opportunity**

Due to growth of our NDIS service and staffing movement, an exciting opportunity exists for a Therapy Assistant (NDIS / Admitted Services) to join our NDIS team

Working alongside our Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Occupational therapists, the successful applicant will be responsible for assisting our NDIS participants to complete their prescribed exercise programs on land and/or in water, and to help participant’s develop capacity-building skills in the onsite kitchen or at home.

This role will also offer work in our inpatient and day program departments as required.

**Required Skills & Experience**
- Current unrestricted Drivers Licence
- Completion of online ‘NDIS Worker Orientation Module’ (or willingness to complete)
- Current ‘NDIS Worker Screening Check’ (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
- A flexible and positive approach to work
- Excellent problem solving skills
- High standard of customer service
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills
- Open to learning new skills and trying new things
- Allied Health Assistance Cert IV (desirable)
- Experience working as a Therapy Assistant (desirable)

**NDIS experience is desirable, but not necessary - training and support will be provided.**

- Must be **vaccinated against Covid-19** a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
- Must provide a **National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children **check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases.
