**About this role**
Our growing **Private Business Tax & Advisory**(Business Services)**team is looking for an experienced accountant to join the Perth office as an **Associate.**
Business leaders face many challenges throughout the business lifecycle: from managing daily operations, tax and compliance, to navigating a competitive landscape and planning an exit strategy. **Key responsibilities**
- Preparation of accounts, tax returns, BAS, FBT and payroll tax returns for a broad range of clients, from SMEs to large companies
- Build and maintain strong relationships as part of an effective client service delivery team
- Work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to wider firm initiatives across the business
**Skills and experience**
- In the process of completing your CA qualification
- At least 18 months’ professional experience within a chartered accounting environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities within a deadline-driven environment and be adaptable to work across multiple managers
- Experience in the use of Xero accounting software will be highly regarded
