Northern Beaches, Australia Masters Academy Communication Full time

**About the Role**:
Classes are held on school grounds before or after the school day across the NB.

Classes run for approx 1 hour and are comprised of between 12 -18 students.

Successful applicants will be paired with a senior coach to gain experience and learn best practice for teaching debating, public speaking and critical thinking skills.

They will also be given coaching handbooks with all the necessary information to successfully teach a social debating class.

Extra training is provided both online and in person.

More opportunities like seminars, workshops, Training, Gala days and Adjudication (Online and in-person) are available for staff that show a want and willingness to learn.

**What we are looking for**:
We are looking to hire confident, enthusiastic, articulate individuals for coaching students in social debating. We are particularly interested in prospective teachers who want to gain teaching experience or people who have previously worked with groups of students (academically or in sports)

A background in debating is helpful but not necessary as social debating teaches the basic elements, and all information is provided.

Being based in the Northern Beaches is preferred.

Note: WWCC is necessary for this position.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 9 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Performance bonus
- Quarterly bonus
