Join Our Team Educator - Early Childhood

**About us**

At Arkie Education, we are passionate about creating nurturing, inclusive, and inspiring learning environments for children from birth to five years. We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified **Early Childhood Educator** to join our team and help shape the futures of young learners through play-based and meaningful learning experiences.

**About the Role**:
As an Educator at Arkie Education, you will contribute to a collaborative team that values professional growth, creativity, and a child-centred approach. You'll work closely with children, families, and colleagues to deliver high-quality education and care in alignment with the Early Years Learning Framework

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate educational activities and lessons aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Observing and assessing children's progress, and using this information to tailor your teaching approach
- Building positive relationships with children and families, and actively involving parents in the learning process
- Actively involve parents in their child's learning journey, discuss progress in parent interviews, and contribute to staff and committee meetings.
- Guide and mentor student teachers on placement to help shape the next generation of educators.
- Facilitate language development through storytelling, role play, songs, rhymes, and group discussions.
- Provide experiences to develop motor skills, confidence, social cooperation, and understanding of the children.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and well-organised classroom environment
- Collaborating with the wider team to contribute to the overall success of the centre
- Continuously seeking opportunities for professional development to enhance your teaching practice

**What We're Looking For**:

- Diploma or bachelor’s in early childhood education (birth to five years) or currently working towards a qualification in an ACECQA-approved early childhood education course
- Current First Aid, CPR, Child Protection, and Food Handling certifications
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards (NQS), and a commitment to continuous improvement
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development
- At least a year of demonstrated experience in an early childhood education environment.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and best practice in early childhood education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families
- A creative, flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
- A genuine passion for nurturing the growth and development of young children

Job type: Full-time Permanent

**Salary**: AUD 76,515 plus superannuation (based on experience)

Pay: $76,000.00 - $76,515.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
