**About the role**:
Merri-bek City Council has an exciting opportunity for a Crew Leader (Horticulture) role in the Open Space and Environment branch.
The Crew Leader (Horticulture) is responsible for leading a small team of operational crew members to deliver on tasks in a safe, efficient and effective manner.
We are looking for someone who actively embraces and paves the way for change with a demonstrated commitment to professional learning, continuous improvement, innovation and staff wellbeing.
**Skills and experience require to perform the role**:
- Certificate III in Horticulture or related trade qualification or substantial relevant experience in horticulture or turf maintenance.
- Computer literacy/proficiency in Microsoft Office and in field work management software and devices.
- Successfully completed a relevant short course in supervision or leadership or relevant experience.
- A strong commitment to customer service.
- Victorian Drivers Licence and Medium Rigid Endorsement
- Awareness of Occupational Health and Safety processes and procedures
