We are currently assisting a Government Agency to recruit a Finance Business Partner. Located in Melbourne, this is a 6-month temporary assignment, starting as soon as possible.

The position sits in the Finance team and reports to a Senior Finance Business Partner. The role will be responsible for supporting divisional teams by providing regular reporting and analysis of budgets, forecasts and KPI.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Supporting divisional teams for the development of their annual budget and resources allocation plan
- Producing monthly financial reports, variances acquittals and returns, contract pricing reviews, and project portfolio reporting
- Monitoring the accuracy of information in financial management system (budgets, forecasts, actuals, journal adjustments, project costs )
- Ensuring compliance with corporate financial control requirements
- Providing training on finance related activities (ex. budgeting module)
- Identifying and providing recommendations on process improvements
