We are expanding our team to ensure excellent support for our clients, especially those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other neurological conditions.
Hours and Shifts Required:
**Responsibilities**:
- Domestic Assistance: Help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and shopping.
- Personal Care: Assist with personal care, mobility, transfers, and use of specialized equipment.
- Respite Care: Provide relief to caregivers, allowing them time for rest or appointments.
- Social Support & Transportation: Facilitate social engagement and assist with community activities and appointments.
- Medication Monitoring: Prompt clients to take medication per their Care Plan where required.
- Compliance: Follow operational guidelines and reporting requirements.

**Requirements**:
- Cert 3 or above in Disability/Aged Care/Individual Support is desired however a Can-Do Attitude and Experience surpasses this
- Minimum 1 year of experience in disability or aged care, with a focus on ASD support preferred.
- Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and relevant checks (WWCC, NDIS screening, First Aid, CPR).

Pay: $34.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 - 15 per week

- Weekend availability
Supplementary Pay:
- Penalty rates
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Newcastle, NSW: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
