Our client is a global mining technology leader.

They are currently seeking an Electronics Hardware Manager to lead and manage a small team of engineers to design and develop high quality mining technology products for their global clients.

**as of Responsibility include**:

- Responsible for all facets of engineering and development from project planning to product release for field testing.
- Guide/Lead team development efforts toward successful project delivery.
- Provide technical leadership to team through coaching and mentorship.
- Conduct hands-on development work.
- Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
- Conduct staff appraisals and skill sets reviews.

**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering/RF Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in hardware development with some experience of managing direct reports.
- Previous R&D experience.
- Experience with PCB design software (Altium preferred).
- Experience in firmware design for microcontrollers (C based).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and other departments.
- Experience in managing projects.
- Knowledge in network configurations including wireless and mobile networks (desired but not essential).
- Knowledge of sensors such as accelerometer, magnetometer, gyroscope (desired but not essential).

Please note that Travel (interstate, intrastate and overseas) will sometimes be a requirement of this role.
