Due to this we are rapidly expanding and urgently need experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team and improve our client’s day to day lives.

We need people who are as committed and passionate as we are and contribute towards providing care, quality and purpose driven solutions to all that we do

**About You**:

- Compassionate

- A genuine interest in helping others
- Have had at least 6 months working experience in Disability Support Work/ Personal Care
- Excellent understanding of safe manual handling techniques
- Can safely operate Hoists / Lifting Machines
- Have a clear & Current Police Check
- Have a current Working With Children's Permit
- Have up to date First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Cert III or higher in Individual Support or Disability (or equivalent)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion
- Current driver’s license with reliable transport

**Responsibilities**:

- Meal preparation
- Cleaning / Housekeeping - laundry, shopping, linen service
- Administering Medication
- Companionship
- Accompanying clients on social outings
- Support accessing the community and encouraging social participation
- Bowel and Catheter Care
- Active and Non-Active overnight shifts
- Assisting with travel/transport arrangements

**Salary**: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour
