Job description

We are looking for a motivated Mechanic to join our team at our shop located on 189 Brisbane Road. Mooloolaba QLD 4557.

**Responsibilities**:
The main tasks includes:

- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of motor vehicles, including engine overhauls, brake and suspension work, and electrical system troubleshooting.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections to identify issues and ensure all parts are functioning correctly.
- Perform routine servicing, such as oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid top-ups.
- Troubleshoot and resolve engine, transmission, and other mechanical problems using specialized diagnostic equipment.
- Replace or repair faulty components, including belts, hoses, brakes, and fuel injection systems.
- Carry out wheel alignments and tire fitting as necessary.
- Provide accurate and detailed estimates for repair work and clearly communicate findings and recommendations to customers.
- Maintain records of work completed, parts used, and services performed for each job.
- Ensure that all repairs and maintenance tasks comply with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Keep the workshop clean and organized and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
- Stay current with industry trends, new vehicle models, and advancements in automotive technology.

- Knowledge in motor and engines
- Solid mechanical skills
- WHS knowledge
- Ability to with minimum supervision
- Ability to comply with timeframes and scheduled services
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure
- Be able to communicate in English
- Be a team player and self-motivated

Previous Experience Required
- 2 years of working experience as a Mechanic or co-related roles

Working Arrangements & Schedule
- Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
- 38 per week
- From 9am to 5pm, Mondays to Fridays
- Salary: $75,000 per year plus superannuation

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
