Located in Denham Court in Sydney’s Southwest, and set to open later this year, Bolton Clarke Willowdale will be a newly built Residential Aged Care home. It will offer 136 bedrooms with a variety of accommodation options for residents.

Built over 2 levels, this premium home will include resident communal spaces such as lounges and dining areas, cinema, gym, café, salon and function room.

As the Team Leader
- Cleaning & Laundry, your primary focus will be providing efficient management and coordination of the cleaning and laundry operations, ensuring a safe, high-quality cleaning and laundry service to our residents in compliance with legislative requirements. This is a multi-disciplined role, and you will be responsible for ensuring the home meets service standards and relevant external standards.

**The key focus of the role will be to**:

- Directing and supervising staff in their duties
- Rostering and replacing staff when absent
- Assisting with performance appraisals, as required
- Ensuring staff are competent to use machinery required for their position
- Appraising and facilitating the learning needs of staff, inclusive of mandatory and company preferred training requirements
- Ensuring that cleaning of residents’ rooms and public areas meets the standards and infection control
- Ensuring that laundry services are conducted in a safe and efficient way that meets the needs of the site and residents
- Ensuring that all equipment is utilised and handled as per the manufacturer’s instructions and MSDS Sheets
- Ensure duty lists are up to date and records are maintained at all times
- Reporting any evidence of pest infestation and breakdown in equipment or standards
- Responsible for managing and working within budgets for cleaning, laundry
- Manage the ordering, delivery, stock control and storage processes

**To be considered for this role you will require**:

- Certificate IV in Hospitality or possess the knowledge, skills and experience
- Understanding of the principals of leadership and staff supervision.
- Understanding of the Residents’ Charter of Rights.
- Understanding of the Standards and Guidelines for Residential Aged Care Services.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial services, hotels, nursing homes or hospitals etc
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Highly organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks
- Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
- Highly motivated and able to take initiative
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment at all times
