The Neon Consulting is on the hunt for a dedicated and detail orientated Data Analyst to collect, assess and report accurate economic and social data to drive strategic decision making and aid in achieving our performance objectives.

We are in the market for an experienced Data Analyst who will facilitate the delivery of the City’s economic strategies and plans through research and data analysis to enable strategic decision making. You will be expected to support the development of business cases for identified projects that aim to attract and develop new and existing investment opportunities in Melbourne. You will also support the implementation of initiatives developed under the City’s Strategic Community Plan, Corporate Business Plan and the City’s Economic Development strategies.
**What you will bring to the team**
You will have a demonstrated understanding of economic development principles and practice and be experienced in analysing, manipulating, summarising and interpreting data, statistics and factors affecting business and economic growth. You will have proven experience in undertaking cost benefit analysis of major investment projects and working across multi-functional teams. Your comprehensive analytical skills and the ability to convert meaningful insights into written reports and presentations will be second to none. Most importantly you understand that your role is all about helping the City source, transform and interpret data into actionable metrics to optimise business.
