Diesel Fitter

H+E Logistik specialise in conveyor belt systems for tunnelling and mining in Australia. With head office and design teams located in Germany the team in Australia is tasked with preparing, refurbishing, packing, assembling and commissioning conveyor belt systems on sites across the country.

**Role description**

With growth in the Australian tunnelling industry the local team is looking for experienced fitters to assist with refurbishment works and site commissioning. The role involves:

- Refurbishing and maintaining equipment from past projects which can then be used on upcoming projects
- Overhaul and servicing heavy duty motors and gearboxes
- Loading trucks for transporting heavy equipment
- Site assembly and commissioning works
- Diesel fitter qualification or equivalent experience
- Current drivers license
- Current forklift license and experience with heavy duty forklifts
- Experience with conveyor belt systems or tunnelling
- Good communication skills
- Strong fault finding skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Extra skills, experience, tickets and licences will be advantageous

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $45.00 - $63.57 per hour
