Opportunity to join a growing small business We are looking for someone to join us in a hands-on manufacturing/workshop role building our custom drawer storage systems. Opportunity to grow your role and input as the business grows with possibility of ongoing full-time position for someone with the right skills and work ethic.

This role is ideal for someone with a practical, hands-on background and problem-solving skills. You'll be joining the team at The Drawer Company, a growing business in the 4WD, camping, overlanding industry, helping us to build and fit-out a variety of vehicles. Carpentry experience highly valued but full training and support will be provided as your role expands.

Your role will involve:

- Hands-on role in general assembly and production of wooden storage units.
- Interpreting technical drawings and cutting and joining plywood from sheet stock.
- Painting, gluing, carpeting, mounting hardware and general finishing and assembly of drawer units.
- Availability during business hours, 2-5 days a week.
- Attention to detail, problem solving skills, and taking pride in your work.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.

Desirable skills:

- Experience and knowledge of power tools.
- Experience in manufacturing, joinery, spray painting.
- Interest in industrial design and CAD work.
- Interest or knowledge of 4WD vehicles, camping and outdoor highly regarded.

Casual/part-time role with ability to move onto a full-time permanent/ongoing basis depending on skill and attitude. Pay negotiable as skill and work output grows with the role.

Part-time hours: 38 per week

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
