Forklift Driver

This is a very exciting opportunity for an experienced **Forklift Operator** to join their team based in Yagoona

This company is a national industry leader in mining equipment and industrial manufacturing

**General factory role include**:

- General labouring
- Hanging steel and tying them up with wire by hand
- Use of grinders and spray paint to clean material
- Skimming the galvanising kettle (light work in terms of load but hot work)
- Filling out and updating job cards as necessary (manually no computer exp necessary)
- Loading and unloading trucks with palletised material and long structural steel (up to 15 metres)
- Weighing material as per above

**Benefits**:

- Overtime available 90% of Saturdays and some Sundays. OT generally not offered during the week (i.e. 10hr days)
- Afternoon shift available 2pm - 10pm - $36 p/h

**Skills and Attributes**:

- LF Forklift License (essential)
- Store person, labouring, warehouse experience an advantage
- Reliable and Punctual
- Can work in an ongoing capacity Monday to Friday

**Salary**: $36.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Yagoona, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Manual handling: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
