Product Designer

A short fixed-term contract opportunity for a Product Designer with financial services experience. If you’re interested in using your experience in this industry to become the newest Designer in an innovative, collaborative, B2B SaaS scale-up, then this could be the role for you.
As they look to scale after a successful spell of securing a range of new clients, they need a new Product Designer to elevate their main product features and capabilities.
Day to day tasks include collaborating with a small team to define design requirements, iterate solutions, and quickly wireframe / prototype design enhancements.
**Salary**: circa $120,000 + super (pro-rata)
**Please note: the hiring manager is based overseas. You will need to be comfortable working across different time zones.**
**What you will be doing**:
Collaborate with a small close-knit design team to define requirements.
Quickly translate ideas into sketches, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma.
Using historical designs & guidelines to design new features.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to talk through design thinking.
**What you will bring**:
The ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders and work in a collaborative team environment.
A natural curiosity and a confidence to ask questions, adding real value through thinking outside the box.
The ability to jump quickly between varying priorities, and execute to tight deadlines.
Expertise with standard product design tools (ideally Figma).
Strong portfolio showing the breadth of digital design capabilities.
