Machine Operator

Soap Solution is an Australian family-owned soap manufacturer situated in the Northern beaches of Sydney. We are a proud soap manufacturer with over 30 years of soap manufacturing experience. We are one of the leaders in soap manufacturing in Australia.

In recent years we have expand our business into the liquid soap and cosmetic sector, and we have a **liquids machine operator position available** for our liquid production line. This will be a full-time casual position with opportunities to progress to permanent role should your performance meet or exceed expectations. We offer a competitive hourly rate with overtime pay. Training will also be provided to ensure success in the role.

**Reporting to the Liquid Production Manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- Operating liquid filling line and hand filling tools (hand creams, body lotion, etc).
- Cleaning and sanitising liquid filling line and hand tools.
- Use Quality Control measures to reduce waste and remake.
- Effectively packaging products to reduce damage.
- Using all lifting equipment and follow any manual handling procedures.
- Liaising with the Production Manager to produce a Daily Production Report.

**The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate**:

- Machine Operating experience in a food/personal care manufacturing environment is a plus however not essential
- FORKLIFT LICENSE is a PLUS
- Honesty and integrity
- Experience in packaging and dispatching preferred
- A flexible approach to work and willingness to learn, improve and rotate through various tasks
- Strong teamwork skills
- Excellent work ethic, punctuality, and attendance
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient spoken & written English
- Full Australian working rights, sponsorship is not available for this role

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
