**ML Landscape Construction and Carpentry**

**Position Summary**: As a 2nd Year Landscape Construction Apprentice, you will be part of a team responsible for constructing and maintaining high-quality landscaping projects. You will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of landscape construction, including **installing decks, pergolas, paving, tiling, retaining walls, brick and block work, planting, turfing, and stone work**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist experienced landscape construction workers in performing tasks such as:

- **Installing decks and pergolas** of various materials
- **Paving and tiling** outdoor spaces
- **Constructing retaining walls** to stabilize slopes
- **Laying brick and block work** for structures like patios and walls
- **Performing stone work** for features such as natural stone walls, walkways, and **water features**:

- **Planting trees, shrubs, and flowers**:

- **Turfing lawns** to create green and functional spaces
- Learn and use various landscaping tools and equipment
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations
- Contribute to a positive team environment

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Interest in landscaping and construction**:

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills

MUST HAVE A CURRENT MANUAL DRIVERS LICENSE

Pay: $23.91 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Landscape technician: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Manual Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
