Dispensary Technician

We’re looking for an **experienced Dispensary Technician**to join our friendly and professional team at our independent community pharmacy in beautiful Richmond, Tasmania.

**About the Role**:
This is a hands-on role supporting the pharmacist in the day-to-day operations of the dispensary. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, managing dispensary inventory, liaising with patients and healthcare providers, and ensuring high standards of accuracy and care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Accurately and efficiently prepare prescriptions using dispense software (we use Z Dispense)
- Assist with stock management and ordering of dispensary medicines
- Maintain a clean and organised dispensary workspace
- Provide excellent customer service and support to patients
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacist to support clinical services

**To be successful, you will have**:

- Proven - experience as a Dispensary Technician
- in a community pharmacy setting (minimum 1 year)
- Competency with pharmacy dispensing software (e.g. Z Dispense, FRED, Minfos, LOTS, or similar)
- Sound knowledge of PBS procedures and pharmacy operations
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
