**ABOUT THE ROLES**:

- The Neonatal Intensive Care Course offered at Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg will provide you with a supported and valuable opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in the unique and rewarding area of neonatal intensive care nursing. This course is titrated to your needs and can support nurses with previous neonatal nursing experience to nurses who have limited to no previous experience.
- Fixed Term part time contract 64 hours per fortnight, opportunities for ongoing / permanent employment
- Post graduate studies in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing provide opportunities for successful applicants to work in the rewarding field of neonatal care
- Clinical placement is provided by Mercy Hospital for Women with the theoretical component from Melbourne University
- Extensive Clinical Practice portfolio provided to support your learning
- Weekly tutorials during the semester, dedicated study days and bedside tutorials tailored to match in with the Melbourne University course outline
- Extensive supernumerary time as you transition throughout the nursery

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Registered Nurse (or duel registered Nurse/Midwife) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum 12 months recent post graduate acute nursing experience
- Your position is dependent on your successful enrolment in the graduate certificate in Neonatal Intensive Care course at Melbourne University
- Applicants are required to be an Australian Citizen or have Australian Permanent Residency
- Be able to work a minimum of 64 hours per fortnight including day and night shifts.
