SA Health, a leading healthcare provider in South Australia, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aboriginal Health Practitioner to join our esteemed team in the Rural & Remote Mental Health unit within the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network.

Based in the vibrant Adelaide Metro Eastern region, this full-time, ongoing position offers you the chance to be part of a collaborative and supportive environment that values cultural sensitivity and holistic care. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between Western and traditional Aboriginal healthcare practices, ensuring that our services are culturally appropriate and tailored to the unique needs of the communities we serve.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with multidisciplinary teams, providing comprehensive assessments, care planning, and health education to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and families. Your expertise in traditional healing practices and understanding of cultural beliefs will be invaluable in fostering trust and delivering effective healthcare interventions.

To be successful in this role, you will possess relevant qualifications in Aboriginal Health, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Your ability to build positive relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, coupled with your cultural knowledge and understanding, will be highly regarded.
