As
**the HSEQ Advisor,** you will be involved in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety management are carried out across the site. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for all HSEQ activities on site.

This is a Monday - Friday role, 6am - 2pm.

Position can be permanent or on a contract basis.

**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Foster the ZERO Harm Safety culture on site through mentoring, encouragement and challenging of existing work practices to deliver engaged and positive changes
- Lead and drive site specific HSEQ risk management processes
- Lead incident investigations, compile reports, and ensure corrective actions are communicated and implemented within the agreed time frame
- Implementation and auditing of HSEQ management systems / plans including maintenance of ISO14001, ISO45001 and ISO9001 accreditation
- Develop, review, and update RA’s/JSEA's / SWMS / SWI’s / Training etc.
- Facilitate training including assessment and recommendations of development needs
- Develop, maintain appropriate policies and procedures for the business whilst auditing compliance
- Provide regular analysis, reporting, and advice to Management and other key stakeholders

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety (desirable)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
- ICAM Lead Facilitator Training (desirable)
- Injury Management/RTW Coordinator Qualification (desirable)
- Demonstrated passion and commitment to Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, and Wellbeing
- Ability to act with flexibility and a sense of urgency
- Clear and concise communication to all stakeholders both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to discuss quality issues with diverse stakeholders, and work with all levels of the business
- Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, Codes of practice, WorkCover and RTW, including in particular recent changes to Chain of Responsibility legislation
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite Products
- Experience in a heavy industrial environment desirable
