**Description**:
Key responsibilities
Reporting to the Production Manager, the role involves general nursery duties including potting, weeding, watering, plant maintenance, order collation and general nursery duties.
The position is full time, working a five-day Monday to Friday roster, plus occasional added weekend watering duties.
Plantmark operates two Production Nurseries in Victoria, locations are at Wantirna and Monbulk. Rostered duties will be at both sites.
Plantmark offers a four week induction and training program, with face to face learning and online courses presenting a roadmap for success in the role.
**Skills and Experiences**:
Essential attributes
**To be successful as a Plantmark Nursery Hand, you will have**:

- Plant knowledge
- Strong attention to detail
- Great work ethic and be a team player
- Ability to work effectively unsupervised
- Intermediate computer skills
- AgChem and forklift certificate preferred

Applicants must also be capable of performing regular heavy lifting tasks and be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Some weekend work will be required on a rotational basis.
