**About the role**

**We are looking for a Branch Technology Specialist (Retail) to join the growing team on a permanent, full time basis.**

Product roadmap’s are maintained and Continuous Improvement is applied to drive value and deliver benefit to the business.

The Branch Technology Specialist will be a trusted partner of the Retail Business Unit and advocate strongly for the Products.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage Product release pipeline according to the release strategy, incorporating resolved defects, change requests and project demands
- Actively identifies problems from incidents and manages problems to resolution with resolving parties. Main conduit to vendor problem resolution teams
- Prepare and maintain individual Product roadmaps, incorporating vendor roadmaps and internal projects/change requests
- Review vendor solutions to ensure they meet Elders business requirements and are fit for purpose, providing a recommendation on the solution’s suitability
- Provide the technical and business knowledge when implementing new Products.
- Keep a watching brief on emerging technologies within the Product suite.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with external vendors and suppliers in support of the Products
- ‘Think customer experience’ and ‘drive operational efficiency’ should be the guiding approach of this role. Putting customers (internal and external) and value generation at the heart of all decision making.
- Act as an advocate for the Products and provide guidance and Product functional/technical knowledge to Business users.
- Actively consult with Business stakeholders to understand upcoming and future business needs and their strategy.

**About you**
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (such as Business, IT, Engineering, Accounting) or significant equivalent workplace experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of Retail Operations preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of Warehouse Operations and/or On-line retail commerce and/or agriculture business is beneficial
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce module is beneficial
- Experience in managing the implementation of continuous delivery practices, defining the roadmap, articulating the benefits and managing the changes needed for both teams
- Operational performance management of external suppliers.
- Knowledge of existing and emerging technology trends and the business capabilities and benefits derived from these technologies.
- Shows flexibility and a desire to learn.
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner with all levels of an organisation and convey complicated technology concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong influencing, collaboration and organisational skills.
- Ability to express concepts, terminologies and technical content in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Planning, prioritisation, organisational skills, and the capacity to be flexible in balancing priorities to meet/exceed customer needs.
- Takes pride in achieving success and creation of value for the business.
