**About us**

Wet Floors is a commercial cleaning company specialising in community spaces. We have clientele across Lake Macquarie, Newcastle and the Hunter and are quickly expanding. We are a small company, we are friendly, hard working and endeavour to provide a high quality service to our clients.

**Position**
- Casual position available
- 5 days, 3 hours every day but Friday, which is 6 hours
- Fridays include 2 night jobs, finishing around 7:30pm
- A perfect role for someone studying and wanting mínimal hours each day
- Saturday availability will be looked on favourably
- Ability to cover paternity leave in early October
- Hourly rate is in accordance with the cleaning services award
- Resume and cover letter required, please include 2 references
- Selected applicants will be contacted for an interview
- Must have Australian work rights
- Drivers licence and own transport is essential to be considered for this role.

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Liasing and building a rapport with clients at cleaning sites
- Being approachable for clients and willing to meet their needs
- Attendance at client sites at agreed times
- Ability to take and follow directions and work collaboratively with others
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Must be reliable
- Be able to meet the physical demands of a labour-intensive role
- Understanding of Work, Health & Safety
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Be able to perform general cleaning duties as required e.g. mopping hard flooring and tiled areas, glass cleaning, kitchen facilities cleaning, toilet and washroom cleaning and consumable replenishment, emptying bins etc.
- Reporting on serviceability / safety of cleaning tools and equipment to the manager

**Salary**: $30.09 - $42.12 per hour
