**About the role**:
As a Casual Facility Cleaner for Sydney Trains, you will be an essential part of our team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various train and station facilities. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, contributing to a safe and pleasant environment for commuters.
- ** Locations**: Various sites across Sydney Trains
- ** Shift times**: Due to a 24/7 rotating roster, we require full availability for shifts scheduled for day, afternoon, and overnight across all seven days, including Monday to Friday and weekends.

**Are you the right fit?**

You are someone with a proven background in commercial cleaning, preferably within a transport or similar high-traffic environment and possess a good understanding of the safety elements associated with this job. You are also flexible and available to work across a 7-day roster, including various shifts. A solid grasp of cleaning chemicals and their correct and safe handling, good presentation and grooming, and sound communication skills are also essential. **Key responsibilities**:

- ** Site cleanliness**: Attending to the cleanliness of commercial sites as per our client requirements.
- ** Community contribution**: Contributing to the positive experience of patrons and the local community through your work.
- ** Safety adherence**: Using chemicals and always adhering to safety standards.
- ** Procedural compliance**: Following schedules and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- ** Cleaning tasks**: Completing tasks associated with mopping and dusting.
- ** General duties**: Performing other duties as required for cleaning requirements.

**What we are looking for**:

- ** Mandatory certifications and checks**:You must possess a valid RIW Card (Rail Industry Worker), Working with Children Check (WWCC), and a Current Police Check. These are all essential for the role.
- ** Experience**:Experience in commercial cleaning preferably within a transport environment.
- ** Safety understanding**: Good understanding of the safety elements associated with this job.
- ** Chemical knowledge**: Good understanding of cleaning chemicals and their correct and safe handling.
- ** Professionalism**: Good presentation and grooming, and sound communication skills.
