Esg Analyst

Our focus on quality and exceeding our customer's needs mean that as a business we are continuously growing. As a result, we are looking for an ESG Analyst to join our Finance team based at our facility in Banyo, reporting to the Innovation Funding and Governance Manager.

**Description**:
**Key responsibilities of this role include**:

- Collect, review and analyse data from a range of internal stakeholders e.g., operations, R&D, technical, sales, finance.
- Conduct desktop research and landscape assessments and concisely report your findings.
- Concise writing of R&D project plans, policies and/or business cases that support the delivery of our funding and ESG initiatives.
- Articulate insights, options and recommendations based on analysis through concise reports, presentations, communication decks/packs.
- Accurately manage the filing system for key data sets collated by the team such as carbon emissions, R&D project activities and expenditure, operational and finance data as they relate to key projects.
- Perform adhoc analysis as requested.
- Coordinate and participate in meetings and/or workshops as required.
- Maintain the team calendar to ensure timely reporting across all key pillars.
- Assist in the development of reporting templates and dashboards.

**Skills and Experiences**:
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following experience/skills:

- Relevant tertiary qualification or progress towards completing a relevant qualification (engineering, science, law or commerce).
- Able to write reports, analyse data in excel and coordinate the collation of data within the business.
- Willingness to work as part of a small team.
- Willingness to adapt tasks and role as our organisation grows and evolves.
- Basic understanding of project management, technical/scientific communication, research and development tax incentive and/or environmental or social issues.
