**The Opportunity**
The purpose of the role is to coordinate planning activities of slow-moving inventory to ensure inventory optimisation to maintain a high level of customer support. This role's key focus is continually reviewing shortages to stock targets and regional demand plans. Additionally, it supports the implementation of control measures to optimise planning processes and propose strategic improvements.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Engagement, maintenance and support of Regional Sales/Customer Planning activities, including planning accuracy metrics
- Maintain operational targets, including excess stock reduction, policy fill rate improvement and maintainence of security stock.
- Conduct root causes analysis and countermeasures to improve inventory position.
- Analyse and identify opportunities to reduce excess inventory and maintain healthy inventory levels
- Assist planning activities in finalising an agreed plan with Regional Sales and Operations.
- Provide analysis and continuous improvements to key Projects

**Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:
- Self-Starter with demonstrated inventory management experience (min 2 years)
- Contruction and earthmoving equipment experience (highly desirable)
- Strong excel skills (desirable)
- Experience in MRP or Planning Systems and Processes
- Experience with Quality Control tools (desirable but not essential as in-house training provided)
