Laundry Assistant

St Charbel’s Care Centre is a progressive organisation, dedicated to servicing the ageing population. Established in 2019, SCCC is passionate about delivering exceptional service to its consumers and providing care that is above and beyond. SCCC is an integral part of the Maronite Community within Western Sydney and SCCC aims to allow consumers to retain their active role within the Maronite Community.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable **Laundry Assistant, **to join our team. Reporting to our Facility Manager, our Laundry Assistant is responsible for providing laundry services across our facility.

You will facilitate this through:

- Responsible for the maintenance of laundry service needs including - ensuring all clothing and linen are handled accordingly as per instructions by St Charbel’s Care Centre
- Prepare and label all residents' clothing items as required and liaise with residents in a kind, caring and respectful manner
- Maintain adequate stock of all linen including appropriate chemicals

**What you can offer to SCCC**
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferrable
- a currently national criminal history check
- valid working rights in Australia
- ability to work unsupervised
- friendly and professional customer service
- qualifications in Aged Care would be advantageous
