**The new Customer Systems and Assurance team ensures the performance, usability and stability of the Transport and Main Roads registration and licensing legacy system is maintained. Working with external vendors and stakeholders across the department, the team deliver program outcomes using innovative technological solutions.

What you will do:
In your role, you will:
Manage the Customer Systems and Assurance team with a focus on delivering program outcomes and contribute to enhancing system assurance through innovative technology solutions.
Lead the Customer Systems and Assurance programs for TMR's Registration and Licensing service delivery systems delivered by the team and external vendors.
Offer expert advice and support on systems and digital channel management to the Director of Customer Systems and Assurance, senior leadership, and other stakeholders.
Provide direction to major projects for existing and proposed systems, assessing impacts and competing priorities as well as represent Customer Systems and Assurance in working groups within TMR, Queensland and national forums.

Who we are looking for:
An individual with:
Tertiary IT qualifications or comparable experience in IT roles is desirable.
Demonstrated experience with business management of complex business systems and online service delivery.
Strong managerial abilities including leadership skills to oversee teams, project management capabilities and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Adaptability and continuous learning mindset to remain current on evolving technologies, industry standards, best practices and new tools relevant to the business.
