**About the Role**:
As Manager, you will lead and coordinate one of two diverse portfolios in the Student Services team - one including Senior Guidance Officers, wellbeing practitioners and mental health professionals; and one including specialised staff focussed on supporting inclusive practices across North Coast region. The two Manager roles work closely together to provide multi-disciplinary services, achieve departmental outcomes and support Equity and Excellence for all.
Based in North Coast region - office location can be negotiated and include a choice of Maroochydore, Maryborough and Bundaberg.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Working together to supervise and develop staff with diverse specialisations and expertise; implementing consistent, transparent and robust practice to ensure the provision of quality guidance and support.
- Making complex decisions and providing advice to senior management on key and emerging issues while considering the legal and policy implications.
- Anticipating risk, responding to issues and trends through data analysis to develop innovative solutions and drive operational planning and resource allocation.
- Identifying opportunities to collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders and maintaining existing networks within the state schools sector.
- Providing high level documentation, including briefs, correspondence, and reports to support decision making.
- Other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the Director Student Services or nominated delegate.

**About You**:
Strong communicator and recent experience relevant to the role.

**Mandatory Requirements**:
Travel across North Coast region may be required
