**Who we are** Located in the heart of Sydney, KILLARA INN PTY LTD, trading as Killara Hotel & Suites, is a newly renovated, mid 70’s icon building influenced by its emerging local precinct. We are currently seeking an experienced Full-time Hotel Manager to join us. You must be willing to go that "extra mile" to make our guest's experience an enjoyable one. This is a role that requires an energetic and enthusiastic person who is ready and willing to lead the team. **Main Duties & Responsibilities** - Supervising and managing accommodation services including reservation, reception, room service, and housekeeping activities. - Organizing and supervising hotel's food and beverage functions including restaurant and bar. - Managing and ensuring the smooth operation of events and conference functions. - Overseeing venue safety arrangements, as well as regular maintenance of garden and property. - Reviewing and evaluating customer satisfaction, and making adjustments accordingly to ensure customer needs are met. - Supervising stock purchasing activities to meet the needs of hotel operation. - Overseeing financial processes such as accounting and budgeting. - Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, liquor regulations as well as other laws and regulations in the workplace. - Assisting guests with information about local tourism, and arranging tours and transportation based on their requests. - Training and managing hotel staff. - Other managerial tasks required by director. **Qualification** - A qualification in hospitality or hotel management. **Experience** - At least 5 years’ previous experience in a similar position. **Skills** - The ability to multitask and work under pressure. - Well presented. - A positive attitude, professional and enthusiastic. - Reliable and have a strong work ethic. - Must be able to work nights and/or weekends. **Salary** - $70,000 - $75,000 per annum plus superannuation. Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Schedule: - Shift work - Weekend availability Work Location: In person
