**The Opportunity**:
Due to growth within the business, Komatsu Rentals Seven Hills has a new position on offer for individuals who want to upgrade their trade to Mobile Plant Mechanic (Cert 3 Mobile Plant). Working as a Trade Upgrade Mechanic, your role will see you carrying out work on world-class mobile mining and construction equipment in the rental department. Your role will see you delivering vital, high-quality service, repair and maintenance solutions and a great customer experience.

As a mechanic at Komatsu you'll be supported not just professionally but personally too. Did you know Komatsu is an RTO? This means we are able to support your learning throughout your trade upgrade and beyond and the best news is you're paid to do it. We also provide a phone and laptop/tablet and laundered uniforms for all our workshop employees.

**Roster**: 5 days x 7.6 hr days

**Location**: Seven Hills

**The knowledge, skills and abilities we’re looking for**:

- Relevant LV or Truck trade Qualification with minimum 1-year post trade experience.
- Be able to work unsupervised
- An ability to provide a high level of customer service
- Demonstrated commitment to safety
- Work as an active Komatsu Australia team member
- Must have good organisational and interpersonal skills
- Safety focused mindset is paramount
- Holds a current driver’s license
- Had previous experience in a similar workshop based position
- Have basic computer knowledge
- Some earthmoving machinery exposure is an advantage
