Kitchen Hand

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Hand to join our dynamic culinary team. As a Kitchen Hand, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations by assisting chefs and kitchen staff in various tasks. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean and organized workspace, washing dishes, and ensuring the overall hygiene and efficiency of the kitchen.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Dishwashing**: Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans promptly to maintain a constant flow of clean kitchenware.
- **Kitchen Maintenance**: Keep kitchen surfaces, equipment, and appliances clean and sanitized, following all safety and hygiene protocols.
- **Assistance to Chefs**: Aid chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, peeling fruits, and assembling ingredients.
- **Inventory Control**: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels of kitchen supplies, notifying the management when stock is running low.
- **Waste Management**: Properly dispose of kitchen waste and recyclables in accordance with established guidelines.
- **Adherence to Safety Standards**: Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment.
- **Team Collaboration**: Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations, helping out as needed during peak hours.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
