The E&I Commissioning Technician is responsible for complying with the instructions and requirements of Commissioning Plans and Procedures. This role also performs various duties associated with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrading and required site commissioning for projects leading to client satisfaction, repeat business and growth.

The E&I Commissioning Technician shall contribute to effective technical and business outcomes, including:

- Complete commissioning documentation to track pre-commissioning and commissioning of Instrumentation and Electrical Systems;
- Load (Wet) commissioning and running plant to full load capacity;
- Perform calibration and fault diagnosis of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic instruments and systems;
- Understanding of piping and instrument diagrams (P&ID);
- Perform calibration and fault diagnosis of plant instrumentation such as transmitters, analysers, control valves, switches, relays etc;
- Understanding of Blue and Red line mark-up procedures on wiring diagrams, P&ID’s, panel drawings, single-line drawings and loop sheets;
- Manage and execute allocated project tasks;
- Walkdowns of systems and capturing punch list items;
- Commissioning of instruments including, ultrasonic, guided wave radar, mass flow, pressure transducers, RTDs, etc;
- Perform Loop Checking on Instrumentation Systems;
- Adhere to project budgets and schedules.
- Must have commissioning experience
- Must have unrestricted current A grade licence
