Marine Fitter

Ventia, in partnership with the Australian Defence Force are currently seeking Fitters/Marine Fitters to join the team at Moorebank NSW. The successful applicant will work Monday-Friday with full-time hours.

**Responsibilities**:

- Examine detailed specifications to determine requirements of the job.
- Operate machines to produce or modify required parts or tools.
- Check quality of finished parts.
- Providing technical advice to equipment operators.
- Conducting data entry tasks.
- Repair and maintain miscellaneous equipment including small engines, general service, and marine equipment.

What you need:

- Trade qualified fitter and turner (Cert III). You must be able to provide a copy of this.
- Current Drivers License.
- Small engines qualification or experience (desired).
- Experience operating lathes, millers, or other metal working machines.
- Proven experience with Oxy/Acet, Arc, MIG, TIG welding and metal fabrication processes.

You must be an Australian Citizen and be able to obtain an Australian Defence Clearance
