Book Keeper / Office Administrator

This part-time role involves managing the day to day back-office operations of Goodwood
Flooring with a view to contribute to the overall growth and successful running of the business. The role is varied and has the scope to grow.

**Role Scope**
Part time / work from home / hourly rate pay

**Background**
Goodwood Flooring is a mid-sized construction business, established in 2009. Specialising in
Engineered Timber Flooring, the business provides floor levelling, import (engineered timber) and timber flooring installation services.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Maintain Xero records including monthly bank reconciliation, quarterly BAS paperwork, PAYG and superannuation payments
- Updating Subcontractor details including TPAR reports
- Invoicing, credit control, accounts receivable / payable
- Pricing (coordinating with factory in China)
- Managing relationship with Freight Forwarding company
- Credit control including accounts receivable / payable
- FBT reporting

**Key Selection Criteria**
- **Book Keeping**: Proven experience in the management of the accounts for a mid
- sized business, ideally construction
- **Initiative & Accountability**: proactive and self-starting - seeks ways to improve business processes to the benefit of the business, actively problems solves, anticipates the needs of the Director
- **Systems** - proficient in Xero, Excel and Word
- **Employment **- Applicants must have an ABN and have relevant working permits to work in Australia. Must be able to secure a National Police Records Check
