**THE PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE**
The Digital Activation Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Programmatic & Paid Social campaigns across their client portfolio. Working mainly with our new, not-for-profit client, Cancer Council Victoria. This charity helps to reduce the impact of cancer; by raising awareness, providing support to those affected and vital research initiatives.
This role will assist the Digital Activation Director with quarterly business reviews, product development, and assistance with new business with regards to programmatic & Paid Social. This role must work to ensure the performance of all client accounts within their team and that clients’ investment delivers against their business objectives whilst also building exceptionally strong relationships with them. The Digital Activation Manager will be responsible for the overall quality of Programmatic & Social response to briefs, defining campaign KPI’s and measurement, alongside the delivery of the Programmatic & Social post campaign report.
The Digital Activation Manager is also responsible for supporting, coaching, developing and overall management of their team to ensure client needs are met.
**WHAT KEY RESPONSIBILITIES DOES THIS ROLE HAVE?**
- You’ll be predominantly working across Programmatic & Paid Social but will also be immersed in a team culture of ideas-sharing, discussion and problem solving across Programmatic, Paid Social, and broader digital solutions for your clients (including e-com).
- This role would suit someone currently in a digital / performance role, with working knowledge across Programmatic that would love to develop in the Paid Social space. If you have Programmatic knowledge and would like to upskill in Social and /or e-com solutions, this will also be a great role for you.
- Full ownership of client relationship, service, and performance across - Programmatic and social activity. Engaging line manager when required in a timely fashion.
- Leading response to client briefs and building programmatic & Paid Social media recommendations that achieve strong client outcomes.
- Ensuring the team is executing a smooth implementation and delivery of programmatic & Paid Social campaigns
- Timely and accurate delivery of ad trafficking
- Excellent data analysis skills and ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Ability to design test and learn framework
- Management of Senior Digital Activation Executives on a day-to-day basis - identify relevant training for them
- Responsible and accountable for output of their team
**KEY REQUIREMENTS**
- 3+ years’ experience in a programmatic / Social or ad operations role in a media agency or in house
- Experience in managing client communication and relationship as well as a portfolio of clients
- Excellent programmatic and/or ad operations experience. Knowledge with significant experience in delivering programmatic campaigns to achieve client results.
