**What are we looking for?**

**Job description**
- Providing all aspects of chair-side dental assistance to our Dentists.
- Delivering exceptional dental care and excellent customer service.
- Instrument reprocessing and sterilisation procedures.
- Advising patients of care.
- Fostering professional and friendly relationships with dentists, staff and patients.
- Maintaining compliance with organisational policy and procedure.
- Complying to infection control policy from ADA as well as the policies and procedures in the clinic.
- **Exceptional communication, interpersonal and customer service** skills: able to cater to patients of various cultural background.
- Multilingual *Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese preferred.
- Proven record of **punctuality and reliability**.
- Ability to **build rapport **with patients in a friendly, cheerful manner.
- **Great attitude towards teamwork**, gels with the team and strive in team work environment.
- Able to work till late evening approximately 7PM (if required).
- **Strong multitasking skills** and **ability to work in a very fast paced environment**.
- **Fast learner and proactive**.

The position will start with casual and transition to part-time. Part time hours: approximately 16-20hours per week.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
All patients are required to wear a mask at the appointment, staff are provided with appropriate PPE for infection control e.g. disposable gown, face masks, gloves and face shields.

**Experience**:

- Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Mandarin (preferred)
