**About this Opportunity**:
Our team is growing, and we are looking for a Category Buyer to join our Procurement team in our Rydalmere Office.

This is a 12 month FTC - covering maternity leave.

This role will provide operational, analytical, and administrative support to the business to enable JCI to execute its strategy and meet commercial and governance requirements.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Support the Costing and Sales Contracting and Service units by analyzing and managing an existing supplier panel, contributing to sourcing and participating in the drafting of specifications.
- Contribute to the management of tenders, the technical and commercial analysis of quotations and negotiation.
- Guarantee the technical optimization of supplier proposals and analyze the overall costs.
- Participate in business launch meetings and put suppliers in final competition before their final selection and negotiation.
- Participate in the improvement of our margins and analyze the drifts.
- Carry out regular reporting in our Purchasing of the gains made tool
- Manage subcontracting contracts with our business specificities.
- Provide support to account managers for dispute resolution and to the legal and accounting departments.

**What we are looking for**:

- 3+ years of related procurement experience
- Work experience in a Technology, Construction or FM environment is beneficial.
- Category buyer experience
- Working knowledge of the legal aspects of procurement and contract law.
- Relevant qualifications
