**The Opportunity**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Substation Supervisor to join our Maintenance team as custodian of our substations to ensure high standards of housekeeping and maintenance are delivered.
Based primarily in the **Mid-North**, **Upper North** and **West Coast/ Eyre Peninsula**, this role will be responsible for carrying out routine inspections, while identifying and raising defect notifications.
As custodian, you will provide advice to maintenance service providers regarding the completion of routine and corrective maintenance, producing quality reports back to the team and ensuring all maintenance work is done in accordance with ElectraNet’s procedures and standards.
**About You**:
Experience is key, so here’s what we’re looking for in our next team member:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance and construction of High Voltage Substations.
- A strong understanding of Substation Access protocols and absolute adherence to substation safety requirements.
- Experience carrying out Routine Inspections in accordance with ElectraNet procedures in a regular and timely manner
- High level understanding of High Voltage (275 kV, 132 kV, 66 kV) Substations.
- Knowledge of legislated industry requirements (National Electricity Rules, ESCOSA, OTR, AEMO Guidelines).
- At minimum, possess an Electrical Workers Licence with other accompanying desirable certifications or qualifications like CAT 2 Switching License,
- Front Line Management Cert IV and White Card training.
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
Inquisitive in nature, and resolution focused.
