JM Penning Engineering are looking for an Apprentice Fitter / Welder to join our small friendly team. This would be a great opportunity for someone with some experience in the field or someone with a hunger to learn and be successful in their trade that is just starting out.

This as a varied position where you will be required to be versatile and enjoy learning about working across a large scope of machines and at various sites as needed.

Must have a valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.

We work across varied shifts including day shift, afternoon shift and weekends as required.

As you will be representing our company on Major Sites, you need to be honest and reliable and have a high attention to detail.

**About You**:
To be considered for this position, you will need to have the following.
- A good work ethic.
- Be a strong communicator who can effectively communicate with staff and clients.
- Have a technical aptitude and a mechanical interest.
- Be self-motivated with a responsible attitude and mature outlook.
- Have a strong commitment to on-site and off-site training.
- Ability to work within a team environment
- The drive to be committed and successful
- Be reliable and honest.
- Be able to work unsupervised at times.
- Have a valid driver's licence.
- Some experience would be highly regarded but not necessary
