**Hospital**
This hospital, Australia's second oldest, has been serving the community since 1804. It is a major clinical teaching and research center closely collaborating with the University of Tasmania and other institutions. With 550 physical beds, including 460 acute overnight beds and 90 day beds, the hospital provides acute, sub-acute, mental health, and aged care services to approximately 240,000 people. It serves as a tertiary referral and trauma center for the state, and its Emergency Department sees an average of 70,000 patients annually, including a significant pediatric case load of 25%.

The department is accredited for advanced training with ACEM and offers rotations in anaesthetics, hyperbaric medicine, pediatrics, and ICU, with the possibility of arranging rural hospital posts. Education is a priority, and a comprehensive preparation program, along with a full day of education every fortnight, contributes to a high pass rate for ACEM primary and fellowship exams.

**Position**
As the Emergency Medicine Registrar, you will work within a multidisciplinary team environment. Your responsibilities will include managing patient care in collaboration with Consultants, Nurses, and Allied Health professionals. This role offers access to a diverse clinical case load with a wide range of presentations.

**Requirements**:
To apply, you should meet one of the following criteria.
AHPRA Registration or eligibility.
ACEM Trainee / Partially Comparable.
At least 12 months of recent experience in Emergency Medicine from NZ, UK.
